This house concert is a prelude to a major fund raising event taking place at The Old Market.

On Friday 30th January, 8pm:
An evening festival of music, song and rhyme at the Old Market. Entertainment with a warm front and stormy January weather, enlivened by the chance to sip a little Champagne.
We are delighted to present:
Set 1.
Pianist Ben Bannerman playing his own works for piano as recorded.
Retro Lounge singer Stewart Barlow accompanied by Christopher Page.
Relaxing, if not 'toe tapping', jazz from the Hot Donuts band.
Second set:
Poet Charles Anthony performing with Christopher Page to add a music flavour to a dramatic performance.
A troupe of sultry Egyptian dancers of Pharonic inspiration.
Funny and hugely talented ladies, Mandy and the Magdalenas, to close the evening by stormy humour.

The concert is being held to raise money for the IVO T KREJCI fund, to support the intensive care units of the Brighton and Sussex University hospitals, NHS Trust.
Tickets at 10 pounds, to include a sip or two of Champagne and nibbles.
